Who can help me with deciding on a course of study?
Curtin’s prospective student advisors can talk to you about courses offered at Curtin or give you advice if you are considering switching courses.
Prospective student advisors can offer you comprehensive course advice and also organise for you to take a self-paced computer test called Career Voyager at the Bentley Campus. Career Voyager provides a list of your likes and dislikes by way of a graph, as well as providing a list of suggested occupations. After making an appointment with an advisor the report generated from Career Voyager is used help you with your course choices.

How will I find my way around the Bentley campus?
When you arrive at the campus on Open Day, head straight for an information booth and pick up a program. A full colour map is included in the program, detailing all the activities arranged for the day. If you do get lost, there are sign posts around all over the campus to help you find your way, or you can ask directions of any of the Curtin staff and students working on Open Day.
How do I get to Curtin?
Curtin is located six kilometres south of Perth city, between Manning Road and Hayman Road in Bentley. The main entrance is from Kent Street and the campus is easily accessible by bus, train, bike and car.
Bus and train
• A shuttle runs direct to Curtin from the Canning Bridge Train Station on the Mandurah line.
• The Circle Route bus line leaves from Oats Street Train Station.

Car
Curtin is accessible from Kent Street, Manning Road and Hayman Road. Student and staff parking is available on campus. Please see the campus map for more information.
Walk or cycle
Get fit, save money and be good to the environment at the same time! Curtin provides change rooms, bike racks and secure bike enclosures, so you can easily cycle to uni.

For information regarding undergraduate and postgraduate course work scholarships, please contact the Scholarships Office.
For information on postgraduate research scholarships please contact the Research Scholarships Office.
Where can I park on Open Day?
You may park in any of the parking locations on campus, download a parking map from Curtin's website. Parking is free on Open Day.
What kind of food is available on Open Day?
All the food outlets on campus will be open throughout the day. You can also find other food available on the day at the following locations:
Centre for Aboriginal Studies – beef sausage sizzles, tea, coffee and damper and popcorn for children
Curtin Business School – sausage sizzle and free slushies
Humanities – barbecue and multicultural food
Health Sciences – icecream
Curtin FM – sausage sizzle

Will there be entertainment on the day?
Yes. There is plenty of live entertainment to enjoy, including WAM bands Day of the Dead, Harlequin League and Sneaky Weasel Gang. And DJs, dance acts, indigenous dancers, fashion parades, theatre shows and Japanese drummers will also be on campus.
Don’t miss our attractions at the fun zone, including a petting zoo, air-bot wars, circus workshops, ultimate module challenge, gingerbread bakehouse, caricatures, aerobungy, Redbull and much more.
The Curiosity Carnival is fun with a science twist! Drop in and see a periodic table shooting gallery, a fortune teller, horror alley, test-your-strength, game theory gambling, popcorn madness, liquid nitrogen magic and many more science sideshow attractions.
Make your way around campus to find Nova 93.7’s Nathan and the action battle team, zorb balls, face painting, balloon sculpting, sumo suits, helicopter rides, Scitech science roadshow, rocket demonstrations, Astrodeck, rampaging robots, and the Curtin Motorsport Team car race.
What information will be available?
Faculty representatives and advisors from the Future Students Centre will be able to provide information on courses offered at Curtin. Student Central will also be open to offer advice and answer queries on admissions, fees and scholarships.
If I can't make it on the day, who can I speak to about my course/career options?
Speak with a prospective student advisor at the Future Students Centre and arrange a time to come into the centre to use the computer assisted career assessment tool, Career Voyage. Career Voyage assesses your likes and dislikes and suggests up to 40 potential careers that could be for you.

What happens if the weather is poor?
You will be guaranteed a great day no matter what the weather is like. All our activities are held indoors, in marquees or in buildings, there is plenty to do!

Will I get to meet current students?
Current students will be available to meet with you and have a chat about what course you would like to study. Student ambassadors will also be on campus , and have organised a fun game, so join in the game, and meet them.
How do I personalise my program for Open Day?
Create an Open Day program by selecting your activities of interest, and downloading a personalised program from the Open Day website.
I am not a year 12 student. Will I still benefit from attending Open Day?
Yes. Open Day will give you an idea of what to expect when you’re ready to start uni. Curtin students and staff will be available to answer any questions you may have about which course to study.
There’s also plenty of fun activities you can participate in or visit, such as the petting zoo, aerobungy, ultimate module challenge, circus challenge, air-bot wars and much more.
