Courses Expo
All areas of the uni are represented at the Courses Expo. You can chat to academics, students and advisers to get the information you need to choose the course that's right for you. You can also learn about admissions, fees and scholarships.
Where: Near the Kent St entrance, on Edinburgh Oval.
Future Students - Make Tomorrow Better Marquee
Don't miss this marquee on Open Day. It's the place to enter our great Get Ready For Uni and Choose Your Own Adventure competitions, but lots more is happening. Find out what uni is really like by chatting to current students, get advice from our student advisors and turn your head into an animated bright mind just like the characters in the Curtin TV ad using our interactive augmented reality technology. You can also check out new and planned facilities for students and be filmed telling us how you will make tomorrow better!
Fun Zone
The Fun Zone will be packed with activities for all ages. This year there will be:
- Petting zoo
- Bouncy castle
- Giant Jenga
- Inflatable sumo suits
- Terracotta potters
- Human Soccer Table
… and lots more.

Resources and Chemistry Precinct
The Resources and Chemistry Precinct will host the Science Hub and Innovation Display, both of which showcase the research that's carried out at Curtin, in the fields of health, sustainability, business, computing and astronomy.
You can also tour the Precinct and learn about the innovative work Curtin's doing in partnership with state-funded research body, ChemCentre.
Where: Enter from Manning Rd. Hail and ride buses stop at the precinct at regular intervals.
Curtin Stadium
Catering to student, staff and the public, Curtin Stadium houses a fitness centre and multi-purpose sports hall used for a range of sports including basketball, netball, indoor soccer, volleyball and badminton. With seating for 2,000 people, it's also used for events such as graduations, ceremonies, public addresses and music events. Make sure you take a look on Open Day.

Engineering Pavilion
The Curtin Engineering Pavilion will herald a new era of engineering in Western Australia. Developed to meet the changing and challenging needs of the industry, the complex will provide a stimulating learning environment, with technologically advanced facilities to help educate more and better engineers.
There will be guided tours at 10:00am and 3:30pm.
Where: Adjacent to building 205.
Curtin FM
Curtin FM is our community radio station. Open Day allows you to tour the station, meet the announcers, enjoy the outside broadcast and explore the plant and record sales. Many Curtin journalism students work in the station's newsroom, so if you fancy yourself as a radio journo or announcer, check it out!
