Courses Expo

Each year, all areas of the uni are represented at the Courses Expo. You can chat to academics, students and advisers to get the information you need to choose the course that's right for you. You can also learn about university life, admissions, fees and scholarships.

Where: Near the Kent St entrance, on Edinburgh Oval.

Future Students - Make Tomorrow Better Marquee

Make the Make Tomorrow Better Marquee your first stop on Open Day. It's the place where you can enter competitions, chat to current students and get advice from our student advisers.

Where: Near the Kent St entrance, on Edinburgh Oval.

Fun activities at the Curtin Open Day Fun Zone

Fun Zone

The Fun Zone is always a favourite. Last year it included:

  • Petting zoo
  • Bouncy castle
  • Giant Jenga
  • Inflatable sumo suits
  • Superhero wrestling
  • Terracotta potters
  • Human Soccer Table
  • … and the Nova 93.7 Casanovas!

The Curtin University Resources and Chemistry Precinct

Resources and Chemistry Precinct

If you're intrigued by science, a trip to the Resources and Chemistry Precinct is also a 'must do' for you. Discover more by engaging in fun experiments and activities with the Science Hub, see fascinating displays and find out more about where careers in science can take you with a series of presentations.

Where: Enter from Manning Rd. Hail and ride buses stop at the precinct at regular intervals.

The Curtin University Stadium on a beautiful day

Curtin Stadium

Catering to students, staff and the public, Curtin Stadium houses a fitness centre and multi-purpose sports hall used for a range of sports including basketball, netball, indoor soccer, volleyball and badminton. With seating for 2,000 people, it's also used for events such as graduations, ceremonies, public addresses and music events. Make sure you take a look on Open Day.

The Curtin University Engineering Pavilion

Engineering Pavilion

Come to the Engineering Pavilion for the ultimate Curtin engineering experience. Find out about the huge range of engineering and related disciplines available at Curtin. You can talk to the experts, take a facilities tour, participate in interactive activities and displays - and don't forget to check out the Curtin Motorsport team.

Where: Adjacent to building 205.

A friendly Curtin FM radio announcer

Curtin FM

Curtin FM is our community radio station. Open Day allows you to tour the station, meet the announcers, enjoy the outside broadcast and explore the plant and record sales. Many Curtin journalism students work in the station's newsroom, so if you fancy yourself as a radio journo or announcer, check it out!
